CI Booking — Terms and Conditions Last updated: April 2026

1. About CI Booking

CI Booking is an online booking platform connecting travellers with accommodation, tour, and vehicle hire providers across the Cook Islands. By using this website and making a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Bookings and Payments

All bookings made through CI Booking are subject to availability and confirmation by the listing manager. A booking is not confirmed until payment has been processed and you receive a confirmation email. Prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. CI Booking never stores your card details.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Each listing has its own cancellation policy, which is displayed clearly before you complete your booking. Cancellation policies are set by the individual property, tour, or vehicle hire manager and may be flexible, moderate, or strict. Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. CI Booking is not liable for refunds beyond what is stated in the listing’s cancellation policy.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate personal information at the time of booking, including your name, contact details, and any special requirements. For vehicle hire, you must hold a current, valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle type. You are responsible for any damage caused to a property or vehicle during your booking period beyond normal wear and tear. You agree to comply with all rules and requirements stated by the listing manager.

5. Manager Responsibilities

Listing managers are independent operators and are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, pricing, availability, and the quality of services provided. CI Booking acts as a platform intermediary only and is not a party to the contract between you and the manager. CI Booking does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any listing.

6. Disputes

If you have a dispute with a manager regarding your booking, you may raise a formal dispute through your CI Booking account portal. CI Booking will make reasonable efforts to facilitate communication between both parties but does not guarantee resolution. For unresolved matters, the laws of the Cook Islands apply.

7. Limitation of Liability

CI Booking provides this platform on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CI Booking is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any booking made through it, including but not limited to injury, loss, theft, or damage during your stay, tour, or vehicle hire.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, images, and text, is the property of CI Booking or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of this platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Changes to These Terms

CI Booking reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Cook Islands. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Cook Islands.

12. Services

We provide a Service to connect Hotels, Accommodation Providers, Vehicle Rental Providers and Tours in Cook Islands. The Service enables Hotels, and Businesses to connect, collaborate with other Businesses. Our services are intended to be used for lawful purposes only.

13. User Obligation

As a Vendor, you agree to use our services responsibly, to pay for services promptly, and to refrain from sending spam messaging, email promotions. Any marketing messages sent must include opt-out language in accordance with local laws and regulations.

14. Account Registration and Responsibility

The Vendor responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. The Vendor agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

15. As Is

Our services are provided “as is.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

16. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of any changes by email.

17. Responsibility

Please note that we do not bear any responsibility and therefore we do not satisfy any refund/return/exchange requests based on incompatibility of our products with some third-party software (plug-ins, add-ons, modules, search engines, scripts, extensions etc) other than those which are specified as compatible in a description available on the sales page of each product. We don’t guarantee that our products are fully compatible with any third-party programs (including web host) and we do not provide support for third-party applications.

18. Overdue Payment

All payments are overdue 5 days from due date of payment. We reserve the right to suspend any access to any of the plans. This may mean you lose access to your website, data, client information. We accept no responsibility if you lose business, customers, get bad reviews if payments are overdue.

19. Payment Gateway

We use Stripe as our main payment gateway. Stripe and CI Booking will try its best to secure your payment information. As such, when you sign up, Stripe will automatically deduct the payment amount when the free trial is up. You consent that Stripe make automatic payments on our behalf.

20. Refund

We do not offer any refund for any of our product and services.

21. Misuse of Services

CI BOOKING has the right to terminate any business for any and all product and services, when members are in breached of fair use of our products and services. We reserve the right to terminate any member that have not paid the full amount on the due date.

22. Service Fees

At launch, we offer 5% commission rate as at 1st Mar 2026. CI Booking holds the right to change the commission fees at anytime.

Admin fees are at 3% only when required. For example, request to charge the customer extra for damages in the property.

Credit Card Payment via Stripe is 2%, and 30 cents per transaction.

Total Fees: 10%

23. Payout

CI Booking will payout on the 20th of each month, following the calendar booking, minus the commission rates.

24. Manager Responsibility

1. Taxes Managers are responsible for paying their own taxes on any income earned through CI Booking. This includes income tax, GST, or any other applicable taxes in your area. CI Booking does not deduct or pay taxes on your behalf. We recommend speaking with an accountant if you are unsure of your obligations.

2. Accurate Information Managers are responsible for keeping their listings accurate and up to date. This includes pricing, availability, photos, descriptions, and any fees. Guests book based on the information you provide, so it is important that it reflects what you actually offer. If your availability changes, update your calendar promptly to avoid booking conflicts.

3. Quality Standards Managers are expected to maintain a high standard for their guests. Your property, tour, or vehicle hire should be clean, safe, and match what is advertised. Guest reviews reflect your quality and affect your visibility on the platform. CI Booking reserves the right to remove listings that consistently fail to meet these standards.
