Highland Paradise sits on the site of the old Tinomana village, high above Arorangi. The village was abandoned when the population moved to the coast during the missionary period, and the site was later reopened by descendants of the people who lived there.

The village site itself, marae and terraces, forest, and a view across the western and southern coasts. Programmes range from daytime tours to evening cultural nights with an umu feast and performance.
